This article provides information on Tasks and how to pick up a Task on the Forsite app.
What are Tasks?
A Task is a job that needs to be completed within a defined period of time set by a Site Admin or Service Provider.
How to pick up a Task?
As a contractor you will receive Tasks via the Tasks menu. Tasks will display as “new” when they are first received.
To start working on a Task you must check in to a site and then select the Task that has been assigned to you or you can pick up a Task that has been assigned to the company you work for.
When you check out of the site the app will ask you to update the status of the task to one of the following:
1) On Hold
If a Task status has not been updated, the Task automatically moves to “On Hold” until the contractor updates the task or it has been closed by the Task creator in the portal.

How to view a Task?
Contractors can view their Task details at any time via the Tasks menu on the Forsite app.
Contractors that are not checked in on site can change the status of a task to one of the following:
